
Workshop on AI in Education at the Faculty of Science - Branch 3
The Faculty of Science – Branch 3 organized an interactive workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Education,” attended by Branch Director, Dr. Ahmad Allouch and a group of professors, students, and administrators.
The workshop opened with a speech by Dr. Allouch, in which he highlighted the importance of such scientific meetings that keep pace with global developments in the field of higher education.
Afterwards, Dr. Mohammed Daher, lecturer at the faculty and director of the American University of Technology, gave a comprehensive presentation on artificial intelligence and its impact on the education sector. He also presented practical examples of AI applications, including plagiarism detection tools, scientific article writing, electronic presentation generation, interactive content creation, and the preparation of resumes compatible with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Dr. Daher emphasized the importance of integrating AI technologies responsibly and ethically into the educational process, stressing the need for academic institutions to keep pace with this technological revolution by developing their curricula and training their staff.
