Faculty of Medical Sciences celebrates white coat ceremony
The Faculty of Medical Sciences organized a White Coat Ceremony for fifth-year students, marking their transition from theoretical learning to clinical practice.
The ceremony, which took place in the conference hall of the Rafik Hariri University Campus – Hadath, was attended by President Bassam Badran, the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Dr. Saada Alame, a group of professors and academic and medical figures, and the students' parents.
The dean pointed out that the White Coat Ceremony is being held for the second consecutive year and has become a tradition and part of the academic rhythm of the faculty.
President Badran spoke, noting that the white coat is more than just a formal garment; it represents purity, sacrifice, and professional ethics, which are the essence of a true doctor. He also emphasized that medicine is not a job, but a life dedicated to serving others with one's mind, knowledge, heart, and humanity.
